The Dance in the community of Zuleta Imbabura Ecuador a whole tradition
It is a Quichua dance of the province of Imbabura. It is performed during the months of August and September in honor of the pachamama (mother earth) and the inti (sun). This dance represents the work of the field from the preparation of the land worked with the strength of men, the sowing done by women, the harvest of corn or wheat made by relatives, neighbors and friends and finally the celebration in which Usually drinks aguardiente and the traditional chicha until the wee hours of the afternoon.
