Lake San Pablo Imbabura It is the largest lake in the province. The Indians go fishing early in the morning in their totora canoes and also take a bath and wash their clothes on the shores of the Lake during the day. It is located 4 km from the city of Otavalo, is surrounded by the volcano Imbabura and totoras used to make handicrafts. The fauna that the lagoon has is eminently ichthyological like rainbow trout and carp. The variety of birds can be admired as cormorants, crows, white egret, gauchos, ducks, mallards, hummingbirds, sea urchins, flag cullingos and amphibians that fill the lagoon and its surroundings. I invite you to visit this lagoon and be part of the tourism that our Country pose since with so much space we have much to know Ecuador loves life.
